Interview
4 months of interviewing. Recruiter would say she was going to get back to me "by end of week" or "shortly" with an update and weeks would go by. Towards the end of the process they asked for a project, which should have been asked for earlier. Projects are basically free labor but if you are going to ask for it, do it early so you can see ensure the candidate is qualified. Doing it at the end, means so much time has already gone by. Presented the project all the way to the top and received zero feedback. They also forgot its an incredibly small world and later on it got back to me that they were using ideas in my project in conversations with third parties as examples of ideas they were "throwing around."
It was friendly! The process with nice. Group interview. The interviewer was asking about past experience. 30 minutes roughly and very brief. Would recommend to others to try. They had several position openings. Make sure you know what you want.
There were 2 rounds for the interview at Macys. First, one phone interview and the next on the video sharing app through zoom communication. This process was very easy. They let me go after a few months due to lay offs.
