It was an easy interview process. During this process, you have to meet with vendors from cosmetics line and meet with the sales manager and the department manager of Macys.
I applied online. I interviewed at Macy's (Buffalo, NY) in Jul 2015
Interview
Standardized and somewhat brief, not much information about pay. They asked questions that were printed on a worksheet and grades on a scale of 1-10. They didn't ask about past experience or anything that actually was relevant to the job I was applying for.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Macy's (Los Angeles, CA) in Oct 2017
Interview
Simple to the point, was somewhat reloxed. The interviewer asked common quesitons like dealing with customers, what experience you had, flexibility, ever worked management? It helps to dress well and rehearse your interview questions well. It took about 2 days to get the rejection email. It was very disappointing. They do not even give you an idea of why you did not get chosen. It is frustrating because I have interviewed 5 yes 5 times for Macys. Why work for a company that does not give you an idea of why you were not chosen.
