Liberty Mutual Insurance Sales Representative interview questions

I initially interviewed for the Sales Intern position but after they made me go through the whole process they told me I couldn't have it because i was graduating in less then 2 months. Then they told me they were going to offer me a Full time Sales Rep. position. Both the HR person and the Manager of the office told me I had the position. Then a day later I got an email from HR saying they are sorry but I did not interview with the Regional manager so they cannot offer the position until they finish interviews with other candidates with a sales background. Then about 50 hours later I got an automated message saying they went with someone else. Crazy.

We mostly talked about my past experience off of my Resume. Mostly about the related experience in sales and what I did for each company and what the company was like. Also brought up one of my leadership experiences that was very randomly placed on my resume. He was kind of all over the place for that matter, asking me what I did two summers ago instead of the last. We agreed I probably would not be a great fit for the position since I wasnt from around the area and he wanted people who already have established networks there. Said he would help me out for a position in a branch closer to me though.
