I applied online. I interviewed at Liberty Mutual Insurance (Boston, MA) in Jan 2013
Interview
Initial phone interview with situational questions, speaking about yourself. Then brought in for individual interviews with different departments very much the same thing, but brought in a lot of other people at the same time so they struggled with logistics somewhat. In addition, they never responded one way or another to my candidacy.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Liberty Mutual Insurance (Boston, MA) in Jan 2016
Interview
Submit resume, phone interview, and then finally two in person interviews. Recruiters were very polite and made the interviews seem more conversational, rather than a formal interview. The two in person interviews were each an hour long, but flew by and were very professional and well organized. The company compensated all interviewees for any travel expenses they may have incurred going to the Boston office.

Question 1
If you worked in customer service, what was one issue you had? How did you fix it?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Liberty Mutual Insurance in Feb 2016
Interview
I used several internal employees as a referral to apply for a position. The first step is a 30-45 minute phone screen with a recruiter asking mostly questions around prior positions, walking them through my resume. Based on her condescending line of questioning, it was evident she had already made up her mind about my fit into the company and the value I could add because of my current job title. It was a big disappointment and quite offensive because nothing I said was going to give me a shot at being considered. I don't know why she bothered to call me at all. I never got a follow up after a thank you note to let me know they were not proceeding with me. This is the worst interview experience I have had since recently putting my feelers out for a new role.
