I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Labcorp (Princeton, NJ) in Jan 2012
Interview
I was contacted by an internal recruiter regarding my resume. The phone screen was pretty straight forward. I was invited to come into the office approx. 2 weeks later for a FULL day interview with 6+ people. While this was a bit extreme, most of the interviewers were pleasant and knowledgeable. There was one interviewer who was a PMO Director who seemed rude and snippy with her comments regarding my past experiences. She rushed through the hour interview in 40 minutes and told me to sit outside in a cubicle for 20 minutes until the next interviewer was ready to pick me up. Overall, I was asked situational questions (mostly repetitive)--situation, action, result Many of the interviewers stated that they dislike this process, but they are REQUIRED to do so by HR. It was a long and exhausting day...and felt like job speed dating.
