I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Kroger
Interview
I talked with the Front End Manager and she hired me on, after finding out I was not a convicted felon. The initial store I was hired on had plenty of opportunities that were available, which I could take advantage of until I transferred. When I transferred, the new store operated drastically different.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked me generic interview questions for a entry level position, such as why do you want to work here? The hardest question was probably "How would you describe yourself?"
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Kroger (Beckley, WV) in Oct 2011
Interview
It was very fast, they just ask a few questions and pretty much hire you the next day. They give you a drug test and do a background check, which both only take about a day.

Question 1
How do you think you'll be able to contribute to Kroger?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Kroger (Ogden, UT) in Nov 2014
Interview
I met with the director of Human Resources for the specific store. They gather your information as well as take a mouth swab drug test. It was a very comfortable interview process and I felt they really wanted to know me as a person. Other than a few questions, they didn't really ask too much more and not soon after they asked me if the hourly amount was something I would like. I accepted.
