I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Kraken in Nov 2024
Interview
The process consistent of a recruiter screen, then 2 rounds of behavioral interviews, then two 1:1 follow-ups as Kraken assessed which department and role was the best fit. The 2nd behavioral interview included a bit of an informal case study.
The recruiter was very communicative throughout the process, and compensation negotiations were very professional.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Kraken (París) in Oct 2024
Interview
Pros: interview process straightforward, feedback after each round
Cons: agreed on a minimum salary expectation from the 1st conversation as a condition to move forward, after a full round of interview process which lasted 1 month, I was offered a package which was 20k less than the amount from 1st conversation, because "non direct experience in the energy industry" - I was quite confused because this information was clear on my CV from the get go.
Low balling at last round is not professional, other industry experiences not considered is not reasonable. If they told me this salary from the start, I would have said "thank you, but no" - I guess waste of time on both sides.
It's a shame since I really believed in their mission and culture. But I guess interview process could be looked like as a reflection of the "chaotic side" they mentioned in their culture.
