I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at KPMG (Petaling Jaya) in Jan 2009
Interview
My interview took place during the economic recession where new hire was freeze. I managed to get the job but it was a challenging interview process since they could only hire very few staff.
The process started out with tests such as essay writing, mathematics and English. After this is done, if you had passed, you will proceed to the next stage which is an interview with manager.
The interview is pretty long about 1 hour and questions are to get a better understanding of your career objective, working as a team, resilience, positive attitude, other non studies achievements and etc.

Interview
Phone interview with the Campus Recruiter and then 3 in person interviews of 30 min each with different managers and partners in the office. All behavioral questions and conversations about my background and "why accounting / KPMG". Most of my interviews were just like normal conversations and only one resorted to a pre determined list of questions.
