I applied online. I interviewed at Johnson Controls in Feb 2024
Interview
Received an automated email from a virtual scheduling assistant to arrange for my call with a recruiter. There was no additional email or no introduction to who I was going to be talking to. When I had my 30 minute call (with a recruiter) there was no introductions, no explanations of the role, she just jumped into questions. After grilling me for about 20 minutes about my experience she asked about my compensation expectations. As the range was not included in the job description, it turns out that my expectations for comp were not aligned and she quickly ended the call. I would not interview for this company again just based off of the very cold representation had of the company.
