LONG!!! I started with a recruiter, then had a phone interview with the hiring manager, did an online assessment and talked to the Director of HR for the company. Then, finally!, took a day off of work, flew to another city and met with the hiring manager.

Flew in the night before and was in hotel near location. Breakfast with person I was replacing prior to coming to office so they could give their opinion of my role in company. Once at office, I interviewed with hiring manager and their immediate supervisor who inquired about my passion for doing research and development. I then interviewed with team I would be managing which consisted of two people. Finished up with HR who gave a background on the company and the benefits.

Met the recruiter at a campus career fair. Interviewed the following day with her and my file was transferred to the local branch of Johnson Controls. Two rounds of interviews. First is mostly behavioral and the second round is a technical presentation on a subject of your choice. In total the process should last 20 minutes. 10 minutes for the presentation (in front of Johnson Controls professionals) and another 10 for questions and answers.
