I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Johnson Controls (New York, NY)
Interview
The entire process took about a month. I had a total of 5 interviews with 6 different people. 4 of the 5 interviews were telephone interviews. They lasted less than 30 minutes.
The interviews were mainly casual conversations. They asked me to talk about my background and experiences and they went into great detail about the job. 1 of the phone interviews was a casual conversation but they threw in some behavioral based questions (Tell me about a time when...).
1 of the interviews was an in-person interview with 2 people. That lasted about an hour and a half. Again, I went over my background and past employment.

Interview
Entered the office, it was nice work place, I could see the pool table that i will be playing on in my free time if I get selected.
I submitted my resume and they told me to wait and after 10-15 min waiting time, i got called for my first technical round. Interviewer was friendly and also from CDAC back ground, so we had quite a discussion on many programming topics, my work experience, my project and and what not, it went on for 1 hour and then lunch time and resume back for 10 more min after lunch. Right after that I waited for feedback and then they called me for next technical round, again few more in depth technical question and few logical question to check my ability to problem solving approach. 30 min and then done with the rounds. After that general manager round, we sat he explained process, companies in and out, also asked why this why that and what not. Very genuine and friendly person and then he said there would one more round on Monday or Tuesday as one DM was absent that day also and my interview was on Saturday. This round would be with technical lead and delivery manager of the project for which hiring is going on. After that a small discussion with HR and she told me that they will call soon. I waited for 3 days till Wednesday noon as no communication till then, then I mailed HR and asked about the status. She called me an hour after my mail and said that there will be 2 more round one with DM and TL and then one more round with client from US on Skype. Today interview with DM and TL is done now waiting for further communication. I think this much of rounds would be enough to assess a person caliber and attitude towards work. Anyway I will wait for further communication and update you soon. Experience with JCI is good so far, lengthy though but nice experience.
