I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Johnson Controls in Feb 2023
Interview
First interview was with two senior level employees for 30 minutes. The next round was two 30 minute interviews each with two associates currently in the program. The second round is more informal but interesting since you aren’t getting interviewed by experienced interviewers so that can make it easier and more difficult at the same time
Company recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn. Pressed immediately for salary requirements without providing the JD or any discussion about the role. The recruiter provided the JD upon request and then scheduled a phone interview. During the phone interview the recruiter again pressed hard for salary requirements and provided a base amount. Interview was extremely awkward and the recruiter was unable to answer my questions. Furthermore, the recruiter called me again to obtain my resume, which came across as very disorganized. Recruiter emailed me to fill out a job application and after asking for the benefit information, never heard from the recruiter again.
