I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at JLR (Coventry, Inglaterra) in Mar 2009
Interview
The position was for a software contracting role working in the infotainment system department. I was interviewed on a open day. Generally software contracting role interviews are easier than permanant based roles because the have a specific role in mind and gnerally only want to know if you are technically capable. the interview is also generally easier because if later they discover you are not capable of doing the job its very easy for them to get rid of you. They only need to give the agreed number of weeks notice.

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at JLR
Interview
It was one round of technical interview. they asked about OOPs and DSA , SQL , Python. The interview lasted for 1 hour. It was an overall learning experience. However the response manner was that appreciable.
The assessment centre was divided into 2, we had to first do a presentation on a certain topic and then a behavioural interview where they ask questions about motivations and reactions to work scenarios.

For degree apprentices, there are three required stages in order to get a offer. The first stage is filling our the application form. While it says they do not require a CV / cover letter, I would submit both giving you an edge over the other thousands of applicants. Then it's the online testing which are timed questions that relate to the apprenticeship your're applying for. And finally there is an interview that generally lasts 4 hours with a few breaks in between.
