I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at JLR
Interview
1. Initial HR phonecall - JLR recruiter calls and describes the process to be followed and asks a couple of questions based on CV
2. Senior software engineer phone interview - simple half an hour call, technical related questions
3. Zoom technical/behavioural/coding interview - quite typical and expected questions for an SE role.
The recruiter was very helpful during the process, with many emails describing each interview stage as well as giving advice for the interview e.g. type of questions to be asked

Background questions, mostly on relevent experience for the role. Many behavioural questions as expected. Ended with a simple coding challenge (TDD)
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at JLR
Interview
It was one round of technical interview. they asked about OOPs and DSA , SQL , Python. The interview lasted for 1 hour. It was an overall learning experience. However the response manner was that appreciable.
The assessment centre was divided into 2, we had to first do a presentation on a certain topic and then a behavioural interview where they ask questions about motivations and reactions to work scenarios.

For degree apprentices, there are three required stages in order to get a offer. The first stage is filling our the application form. While it says they do not require a CV / cover letter, I would submit both giving you an edge over the other thousands of applicants. Then it's the online testing which are timed questions that relate to the apprenticeship your're applying for. And finally there is an interview that generally lasts 4 hours with a few breaks in between.
