I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Infosys (Pune) in Apr 2017
Interview
I got call from infy HR for pune location. It was three stage interview- technical , managerial , hr.
In technical round , we had a discussion in details the technology i am working on. Technical manager asked some scenario based as well as basic question. After an hour , i got into next managerial round , that was pretty easy ,just asked questions from the resume , previous project experience etc. ,lasted for 30 min. After, half n hour , in HR round they mainly focused on salary negotiation. I was not aware of infy HR would become that much rude, forcing me to join with current package, he was even not willing to listen me.Hr told my current package is good enough as per the industry standard. That was completely pathetic , i said no to their crap offer and come out from the office. Checked glassdoor interview reviews , found same happened with other candidate as well.
They are thinking earning high is not our birth right :) . They don't deserve best.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Infosys (Nueva Delhi) in Feb 2013
Interview
The interview process is very methodical and was scheduled in very coordinated manner. I was called for the interview at 11 AM; I reached there at 10 AM. I waited along-with others in a separate room and then our names were being called out. I was taken to a cabin and was interviewed by a panel of 2 people. They asked technical, process oriented and personality questions. The level of technical detail was not very significant; they asked general questions, not focusing too much on details or cross-questioning; overall a happy and satisfied interview.
After the initial round, I was called in again after 20-30 mins for a HR discussion; they discussed about salary, reason for leaving and location constraints. Finally, after 15-20 minutes, I was asked to leave and told to wait to hear from them. After a month of the process and several failed follow-ups, I got the offer letter.
