The eligibility criteria for infosys was 60% through out in academics.
Hiring is done based on an aptitude test followed by HR Interview. the first step of recruiting was an aptitude test where you have to score a minimum of 50% marks in both sections(maths and english). then the selected candidates had to appear in the HR interview.

Being an ECE guy why you want to join the IT sector
Multiple rounds including face to face and aptitude depending on the role type and resume and project related questions were asked with focus on technical concepts including data structures and algorithms
The recruitment process started with an online assessment that included aptitude, reasoning, verbal ability, and programming questions. Candidates who cleared the assessment were invited for a technical and HR interview. The interview lasted around 30 minutes and focused on Java fundamentals, projects mentioned in the resume, OOP concepts, certifications, and basic HR questions. The interviewers were friendly and gave sufficient time to answer.
Basics aptitude and basic oops programing first round is aptitude round and second round will be technical and Hr round for freshers. It was very good experience and easy to crack
