IKEA Manager interview questions

What a joke, tells me they love my cv got loads of relevant management experience (none in furniture) Had me drive all the way to Bristol from Torbay 180mile round trip Only to reject me because I don’t have any experience in furniture

Had to drive 130 miles for my interview a group stage I’d expect to find for a red coat at butlins. Told all about how successful the people interviewing us had been. Then given a series of childish activities to do then a 5 minutes interview. Bearing in mind I live 140 miles away from my nearest store the feedback I got was I hadn’t visited an ikea ... they haven’t opened one anywhere near where I live so couldn’t and then I hadn’t worked with furniture.... they could have read that in my CV before making me drive 260 miles and waste a day of my life
