I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at IBM (Boston, MA) in Mar 2015
Interview
In person interview. Met with hiring manager and a member of the team I would be working with. The interview process was great and easy. Hiring Manager was a great guy. I enjoyed the process

Question 1
Problem solving questions. Wanted to know a lot about my background and past experience.
i applied online and received an email to do the aptitude test & virtual interview about a month later. the aptitude test was tricky (mainly looking at number sequences and trying to identify the pattern and predict the next few), and i honestly thought i bombed it -- i also felt like my recorded virtual interview went pretty poorly, so i wasn't expecting much. fast forward to 3 weeks later, i get an email requesting my resume. i then get scheduled to interview with the IBM summit manager, who asks me general behavioral questions and then at the very end, asks me to sell her something. it's not too difficult, but i definitely wasn't expecting to have to do that. interview went well, and the manager was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. after that, the process moved a lot faster, and i had another phone interview a couple days later on a friday to interview with a manager from the host city i'd be working at. interview was mostly a resume walk through, and again manager was super friendly. i heard back the following monday and received an offer through a phone call.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at IBM in Oct 2015
Interview
Process was relatively short and painless. Conducted phone interview with a hiring manager which consisted mostly of a personality interview. Felt more like a conversation than interview. Second phone interview was with my host manager who I worked directly for during internship. Was a more technical interview where I was asked about specific skills listed on resume and how I've applied them in the past.
