The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at IBM (Toronto, ON) in Nov 2010
Interview
The manager asked me the questions and explained the position to me. The questions given were:
Difference between Process and Threads
What is a Thread
Heaps vs Stack
What is Dynamic Programming.
What is a binary tree
The manager assured me that the position was a developer despite my reservations. The compensation offered was a significant drop from my last position for which I had an offer as well, so it did not make sense to go ahead with this one, despite it being at IBM.
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at IBM (Markham, ON) in Apr 2009
Interview
just normal talk, no technical question or very little questions, because I have been internship student at IBM for 16 month and got an rating A, people knew me and like to work with me
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at IBM in May 2009
Interview
I applied online for a job at IBM. I heard from an IBM hiring manager and had a brief phone interview. Since there was a match, I was invited to come into the office for a formal interview. There were four people at the interview including myself. The interview was reasonable. I thought I did ok, but I did not hear anything for several weeks. I followed up, but they said the position had been filled. No hard feelings, however better communication on their part would have been nice.
