Interview
I had an amazing interview experience. One of the best out of most of the big tech companies. The interviewer was super talkative and gave a lot of information about his background and the culture at IBM.
Interview questions [3]
Question 1
I was given a super hard riddle that I was told no other candidate was able to solve. This was asked to test how you would think about the problem.
You are given a list of n-1 integers and these integers are in the range of 1 to n. There are no duplicates in list. One of the integers is missing in the list. Find the missing number.
(Didn't have to code just talked through my thought process)
The interview process was very straight forward. The questions were not very technical. There were no coding questions. I was just asked about my past experiences. The technical questions that were asked were mostly like trivial short answer questions
the interviewers are very kind. The questions are not hard, just some basic algorithms and data structure questions. I think what they really care about is the culture fit. They said there would be a very comprehensive mentorship so no need to worry if I don't have too much work experience before.
