I applied through college or university. I interviewed at IBM (Austin, TX)

I applied to the data scientist position Fall 2017 with a campus recruiting system. I was reached out to a few weeks later to take a technical screen interview consisting of typical interview questions, technical questions, and then two coding questions.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Typical interview questions, very basic statistics questions, and general ML questions (not on specific models) and coding questions that are similar in style to HackerRank
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at IBM (International Falls, MN) in Oct 2017
Interview
It was an online assessment, where they ask technical quetsions first, then they will give you an online coding challenge, the coding was impossible, they want you to incorporate machine learning with java, and somehow test the machine learning algorithm performance, what got me the most, is I did not know how to read the value's they gave you, I did not prepare very well

It's an online interview. I was asked to record or type my answer. There were coding questions, too. The coding question is not hard.
