I applied through college or university. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Hitachi Vantara in Oct 2009
Interview
Began with one-on-one on-campus interview. Final round, which was also second round, consisted of in-office interviews with various VPs from the local branch. Interviews were mostly behavioral, but varied depending on style of interviewer. Some important things to maintain are positive attitude, geniune interest, and some relevant/substantial experiences/activities/skills to talk about. The company culture is hard-working, but laid back, friendly, and always willing to help.

Question 1
Describe a time when you worked in a group and the role and responsbilities you took.
Pretty basic process.
They just did a couple of questions along 3 interviews.
One with a talent recruiter.
Another more technical.
A last one that was behavioral.
The process took around 1 week.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Hitachi Vantara (Chicago, IL) in Nov 2023
Interview
The case study was challenging but fair. Lots of good questions but straightforward. Good rapport with everyone in the room which was nice to see compared to others. I would recommend.
A Phone screening by the recruiter followed by three to five video interviews with prospective bosses and teammates. The level of seniority in interviewers progressed as the interviews went on. Finally, I had a call with the recruiter telling me the results. The team enjoyed, but the company recently went on a hiring freeze.
