I applied online. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Hilton in May 2018
Interview
Extremely slow to respond. Multiple rounds of phone interview and a craze video interview. Went through multiple round of recruiters, hiring managers over several months. Not worth the effort. Very slow to respond and then don't even give you a good reason.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Hilton (Dallas, TX) in Feb 2018
Interview
First interview was conducted via. a video interview with pre-recorded questions. It is great to see companies embracing technology in this way, even though it may be daunting at first for first time users, it is also very humbling and enlightening once you become comfortable with the format.
Next were three telephonic interviews and a Q&A with the Recruitment Manager. Both the Recruitment and Management teams were professional to the upmost standard during this process and were very communicative from the onset with next steps. The recruitment process was a true reflection of the values and vision the Hilton mandate and deliver upon.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Hilton (McLean, VA) in Sep 2017
Interview
The interview and recruiting process was well organized and effective. The duration was longer than expected although that did not impact my interest because I was not under pressure to make a decision. This would not always be the case with other candidates and the total duration of the interview process, if too long, could be a negative factor.
