I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Henkel (Cleveland, OH) in Jun 2020
Interview
I was recruited by HR through a Job Board. I was asked to review the open positions and apply for jobs that I was interested in. I applied for 3. I had a phone interview with HR. The HR decided to remove my application for the other roles that she does not manage. (grrrrr....) I answered several questions during my phone interview about why I wanted to work for them. I was then scheduled for an interview with the hiring manager. The call was more of a combination of a conversation and road rage since they were driving and yelling at everyone on the road. I am not sure if they were even listening to me with all the shouting. I was informed by the hiring manager that I would receive information about the in person interview next week that they would be hosting. The following morning I received an email that I was not selected. I inquired about the other roles that I applied for since they were my first choice. I was moved to another HR contact. (Grrrrrr). The phone interview consisted of the same questions from the first one except she wanted me to write down my answers and submit them back to her. I never heard back from anyone after that.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Henkel (Detroit, MI)
Interview
Applied online. Received a phone call and auto email less than a week later to do a 30 min phone screen. Was given the recruiter's first name only. She was very scripted and asked basic employment questions to start off like why did you apply for this position, how did you find this, are you legally allowed to work in the U.S. Then went to basic questions basically confirming all basic info on your resume like positions and dates you worked there. Was asked yes or no questions.
When she got to the portion where we were able to ask questions every one I asked they "weren't given that information" therefore could answer nothing. Also when I asked if I may follow up with her on my status, she said I'll give you a customer service line to call. Right, you are given that in a canned email. Once I was to this point, I knew this was going nowhere. Interview was 15 minutes if that.
I was throughly disappointed with the initial step in this process. The person doing the recruiting had no idea or was not allowed to give any details on the nature of the role. All questions asked can be found on your resume. What a waste of time.
As someone who is very familiar with this company and industry, I would not recommend anyone else waste their time with this process.

Question 1
What about your experience makes you think you are qualified for this role?
I applied online. I interviewed at Henkel (Düsseldorf)
Interview
Second stage Interview held at main office in Dusseldorf site. Asked to do a detailed presentation on introducing a new product on Friday morning for the following week Wednesday interview. Very unethical method of interviewing (good cop bad cop) and no feedback provided despite closing the interview pretty well.
