Usually Halliburton look after people that can work in harsh environments - for real.
The CVs are separated by university that candidate attended.
Previous experience are deep questioned, because in Halliburton drilling service (sperry) the operator has to go deep in assembly complex tools and understand what the tech tools really does. Only knowing that they are put together and magically they work, doenst count.

Brief 20 min interview with 3 coordinators, they offered me the job and after the drug test and background i started my career which lasted a little over 5 years and was promoted 4 times within that time span

The interview was barely even a conversation. They needed people badly. I was called into the room with three supervisors and they hardly asked any questions for most of the interview. It was a couple hours of basically describing the job to me and talking about safety, then a short tour of the facility with a future co-worker.
