Very informative and surprisingly trustworthy. Flew to Denver all expenses paid. Two round interview. It went very well. The second interview was question answer and it was best to show enthusiasm and be very excited.

Question 1
Asked what was the most important fracturing additive? Very technical questions.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Halliburton in Nov 2014
Interview
Halliburton posts hundreds of jobs, but the only way you can get in for an interview is via a recruiter or placement agency. Also, they are using several different (and competing) channels to acquire candidates - this is very confusing to the individual candidate who cannot readily tell which recruiting agency is actually representing one's candidacy.

Question 1
Wanted me to explain "job-hopping" when I was at every job, but, 2, (this in a 35+ year career!) anywhere from 8-11 years - and through Market Forces outside my control, left several jobs all as a result of restructuring or early retirement - not of my own choosing. Thought the question and it's exclusionary value was a bit disingenuous, as the tenure at Halliburton of one of the interviewers was 8 years and of the Halliburton hiring manager was only 3 years!
Great interview in Mid-Con region. Were taken on tour through various warehouses and got to see the equipment and history of the company. The second interview was more of a group discussion of the company and the way that they contribute to the market. I met great people.
