Interview with a current employee. Technical interview where you are given a pencil and paper to brainstorm. No behavioral questions. Probably depends on the person you have but my interviewer was a little standoffish.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Halliburton (Houston, TX) in Dec 2018
Interview
My friend sent me the job posting from LinkedIn and provided my resume to the Hiring Manager. I was then given a phone screen opportunity with a Recruiting Specialist. After the phone screen, I was interviewed by phone by the Hiring Manager. The interview on the phone consisted of basic behavioral based questions, discussion of my interests, and any questions I have regarding the position/company. I was then invited to an on-site interview for the position. The on-site consisted of a panel, which went into further detail of my experience as a University Recruiter and how I would handle the workplace dynamics with difficult hiring managers. After the panel interview, I was interviewed finally by the Talent Acquistion Manager to answer a few more behavior based questions. I was offered the position, but the compensation provided did not match my research of the expectations for the job description.
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Halliburton
