I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Halliburton (San Antonio, TX) in Jan 2018
Interview
So it consisted of a 2 day interview phase, the first day being presentation and tour of the San Antonio Yard, and then the 2nd day the actual interview. The first day everyone was friendly and took us out to dinner, they provided travel and lodging which I really appreciated. My interview was very negative, because instead of the original 4 panel interviewers, I only had 2, and they were obviously were very hung over from the night before. They asked me about my background, and then asked if they had any questions for me. It was a complete waste of my time, because they obviously did not come in prepared to ask any real questions. I then got an email a week later saying I was rejected.
Mostly ask for my experience in University. The technical question is not really hard to answer, you just have to know what is the thing they do and what products they offer.
