Halliburton Field Engineer I interview questions

The first round interview was typical of any other engineering interview with STAR questions. There were 4 star questions where the interviewer wrote down the situation, task, and action took that I answered for each of them. Not a huge fan of that style since I would rather be evaluated on my personality and potential than the answers on paper that would be reviewed by a different recruiter later on. Wait time to hear back for a second round interview is around 2 and a half weeks so I’m still waiting to hear back from that hence the no offer.

It was a very relaxed process consisting of mainly behavioral questions. We reviewed my resume for some time as well, but the focus was on service company based behavioral questions.
