I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at HSBC (Singapur) in Sep 2018
Interview
Went through:
1. Online Fit questions [ranking responses based on given scenarios]
2. Online Aptitude Test [Logic and numerical reasoning]
3. Video Interview
The first two were quite manageable. Video interview was where i failed and i thought that it was a lot harder. Have friends that made it through and went for superday, which they felt were quite alright.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Video interview was mostly based on a given case, and interviewees have to respond to the various questions based on the given information.
Q: Write an email to the client to address his query. [forgot what the question was exactly but the gist was that he has a low risk tolerance but requests for a high return on his portfolio.]
through videos, some cases and answer those questions verbally, basically about how to deal with clients, had to write an email and do some simple calculations, nothing technical, some simple calculations on interest rate
