brief telephone interview then face to face interview with branch manager, with questions on the role and why you wanted to work for the company. Manager was friendly and made the interview really easy

I did it in Sydney, it took them a really long time to contact me. They outsourced their recruitment team, so that team will just contact you by phone, no email confirmation. They invited me to the interview, told me that the manager was on holiday and just did a simple one, Promised me they would contact me in a week, then I waited for more than 6 weeks. Luckily, I got another job offer 2 days later after this HSBC interview
