It was a great one. There were assessments on both technical and soft skills, including but not limited to asking about the track record of my clientele, investments advisory, deals closing, asset class coverage, etc.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at HSBC

Received an internal referral to a position and moved on to take a values-based assessment very quickly. After passing it, my status read "An action is required - Request to schedule HR Live interview." but there was no way to do so from the Candidate Portal. I contacted HR twice regarding this to no avail. After receiving no emails or phone calls during this process, my application was rejected after four weeks.
Clearly set process and experts in the domain area. Relevant questions asked throughout and kept abreast of the developments after each conversation. 4 rounds with the last round being with the global department head

Applied online, received the online assessment invite the next day, passed it but no update from the HR team at all. After one week, they sent a rejection letter. I was supposed to be able to review my test results, but there was no email sent to me post the test.
