I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at HSBC (New York, NY)
Interview
Not the best experience ! First I was contacted by a recruiter who scheduled me for an interview with a branch manager ...I arrived for them to tell me the manager couldn't make it . They rescheduled again and the manager was a hr late and she had her employee interview me ... Who clearly didn't have any experience interviewing . After the process they gave me her card to follow up . Tried several times no answer. Received another call from a recruiter for another branch manager interview for another location ... Again the manager was late and interrupted by employees . To sum it all up both interviews were unsuccessful !

Interview
Was informed about an opening for a bank teller position by an employee. Interviewed with the branch manager on the same day. The interview questions revolved around work experience and past responsibilities. Was hired on spot but was told to apply online for the position in order to be extended an offer. Applied online following the interview. Received a phone call from an HR representative the same week with an offer. Accepted the offer. Did not negotiate the salary.
This was many years ago and I was referred into the company. I was asked simple questions regarding why i wanted the position as well as where i see myself in 5 years. I was interviewed by the branch manager and was sent to get background checks and other paper work at the headquarters within 2 weeks
