Gucci interview questions

I attended a networking event in a Gucci suit and was called for three additional interviews (over a 4 month span) for the same role only to not get the job and be ghosted. I was the only person at the networking event to show up with a portfolio and resumes only to find out that the hiring manager who previously worked for another brand hired all his ex employees for this new store. I know this because I’m friends with one of his ex employees that he hired in. I understand hiring who you want and giving jobs to those you know personally I just wish I wasn’t strung along for four interviews.
