Grifols interview questions

I am a Filipino medical technologist, I got here in us few months ago and but I've already obtained my license as a clinical laboratory scientist, ASCPi. I have no professional experience so I've had a hard time getting into medical technologist jobs which usually require a year of experience minumum. So i applied at grifols as a donor center technician, thinking it would be a great stepping stone for my resume plus it's still in the background of my career. When I walked in I told an employee I have an interview so she just let me sit in the lobby to wait. While waiting I've heard some of the employees talking "she asian" and stuff about they don't wanna be the one training me if i got the job. So then the interview goes on, they wanted me to apply for the phlebotomist job as i had an experience before with my internship. The people who interviewed me were very nice, asked about my previous experience. It went well, they told me the only thing that's holding them back is if i've got to leave if im offered by another company as a medical technologist.
