Fairly anonymous and typical process, a screening interview with a recruiter with basic questions about my experience. I was connected via a friend who works there. After that I didn’t get a call back so can’t speak to the rest of the process.
Full day with Interviews by line manager, colleagues etc. There was a "neutral" colleague also answering all my questions etc. Some interviews were nice/ friendly, other almost hostile. Some people seemed really brilliant. The atmosphere is similar like it is usually decribed, with cantina etc.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Google (Raleigh, NC) in Jul 2022
Interview
Recruiter contacted me on linkedin
Recruiter reviewed resume and then offered times for an interview
Interviewed with Google on a phone call which was a very poor experience as the interviewer was 10 minutes late and was on a horrible connection.
