I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Google (Dublín, Dublín) in Apr 2016
Interview
Applied through university to the Google G-talent days, so I had a slightly different process than other SMB Sales interviews:
- If you pass the online screening you get a phone interview with someone from HR. This lasted 30 minutes and the main purpose is to assess your motivation and understanding of the job.
- After that I had a very pleasant day of workshops in London, where I had a chance to learn more about the company and visit the office. On the same week I had my second interview in person with a Sales Manager. The interview is 45 minutes long and consist of a first part with a few questions about yourself and the company culture (15 min) and then a sales pitch around a case you received a week before (20 min). Finally you have time to ask questions (10 min). For this phase it's important to learn all the basic about AdWords to apply them during the sales pitch.
- The final is on-site in Dublin, composed of three different interviews (one Sales Manager and three members of the sales team). The first is the most challenging one (45 min) and focuses on situational questions to assess reasoning skills. The second and third (30 min each) focus on past experience, competency and cultural fit questions.
The process was very transparent and pleasant and all the interviewers try to create a relaxed atmosphere. Unfortunately I didn't get to the hiring committee stage, but I was still satisfied with the experience.

Question 1
Signed an NDA, so I can't disclose specific questions. Google will provide you with detailed information of each stage and how to prepare for interviews. Glassdoor covers most of the questions I was asked, but there's always something unexpected. It's not done to trick you but to understand your fit for the role and company.
I applied online. I interviewed at Google (Ann Arbor, MI)
Interview
5 interviews over the course of a few weeks, last interview was with the director of the org. This was in 2016, so they were asking questions that weren't as pertinent to the role at that time.

Walk me through how you might fix something or take me step by step on how you would create something.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Google (San Francisco, CA) in Nov 2022
Interview
Very short process. I only had three interviews: one with a Talent Partner, one with a strategist and another with a manager. They asked me about my background and interest in the role. They also asked situational questions like what I do if X happened as a strategist or if client Y with this background needed your advertising advice what would you recommend.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Google (Dublín, Dublín)
Interview
It was one of the best interview processes ever. The recruiter was quite clear. She explained everything in the beginning so I had a transparent process.
The process took around 5 weeks to finalize. Whenever I e-mailed them I received an answer within at least 2 days.
