Human resources than a technical interview. Big tech test as expected. Not a great interview process, one of the technical interviewers seemed low on patience and rude. Maybe google is not a great place to work for if this is whom they ask to recruit.
It was an off campus drive. First there was a mock interview then the first round consisting of two interviews. In the interview they asked for some general questions on statistics and situation based question about survey and biasness caused by problems in survey. In the second interview it was about my project on ML and some time series questions.

Question 1
if individual mean of two groups is rising, is it possible that pooled mean will decrease? if yes, then how?
Got an email from the recruiter asking if I was interested, I replied affirmatively. Recieved a form which was in a word doc with questions about my daily tech stack, environment comfort and process description for certain tasks pertaining to data analysis and wrangling.
