I applied online. I interviewed at FedEx (Columbus, OH) in Oct 2014
Interview
The interview process is fairly simple. You will meet with a station manager that you will be assigned to and they will conduct the interview. The manager took the other two people and myself on a tour and following the tour he offered all three of us jobs assuming we could pass a physical which we took that evening. During peak they seem to hire almost any able bodied person.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Driving experience and medical questions to see if you can work as a driver. At this particular station the only people that are hired are those that will pass a DOT physical and have a clean record.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at FedEx in Jul 2011
Interview
Pretty much as you would expect for an entry level position in which no college degree is required. First interview was over the phone and was based pretty much on what is listed on your resume, the second is typically an in person interview in front on hiring managers and consisted of basic questions such as how do you react under stress and give an example. Just study typical interview questions online and you'll be fine.
