I applied in-person. I interviewed at FedEx in Jan 2015
Interview
When I first applied for a job at FedEx Ground as a Part-time package handler I had to watch a sorting and then scheduled an interview. The sorting observation was informative and I learned that the warehouse is not temperature controlled so one needs to dress weather appropriately. After the interview I had to wait on a background check. The whole process did not take long.

Question 1
I was asked about work history. This is my first job so I has to treat the question as if I were being asked "what can you do for us?" I talked about classes I had taken at college and volunteer work that I had done.
Mostly based off work history. They seem felon friendly. I do not have a criminal history. Personality test not difficult. They responded within 4 weeks. Haven't been there physically or meant face to face.
Super easy process—mostly online application with basic questions about availability, ability to lift 50-70 lbs, and fast-paced work. No tough interview; quick hire after background check. Positive and straightforward. Definitely worth it.
