Interview
I applied for this position online on the company website. About after two months, they send me an email saying that they want to schedule a phone interview with me. After a week, I had a phone interview for about 40 minutes. During the phone interview, they basically asked all those general behavioral questions. Then, after about three weeks they send me an email and also called me on cell phone saying that they want to do on site interview with me. So, after two weeks they scheduled on site interview at Syracuse, NY. On site interview was about 2 hours long. They paid for plane ticket, hotel, and rental car.

1. Given 15 minutes time starting from now, prepare a 5 minutes presentation on what skills and experiences you can bring to this position to become a successful Engineer at FedEx? You can use the whiteboard, PowerPoint slides, and post card during the presentation, which can help you illustrate and explain your skills and experiences better.
2. Tell me about a time when you have to convince somebody to agree to the points you are making?
3. Tell me about a time, when you have to make your customer/professor/friend happy to sell your product or ideas?
4. Tell me about a time when you disagree with somebody and how did you handle it?
5. Tell me about a time when you were having the most difficult and challenging times in your life?

9. If you were given second chance to do the any project again, then how would you approach the project differently from the first time? Give me an example of a project you did in the past?

After we finish with the interview questions I was accompanied by an engineer to give a tour of the station at Syracuse, NY. Then, I was asked to drive an hour and half to Binghamton, NY (the station for where I was interviewed for) talk with the senior manager. We had a conversation for about an hour then I left. This was kind of informal conversation. He also gave me tour to the station and explain about the work the engineers do at the station.

Interview
I got a call on Dec 11, 2013, I had a bachelors in Industrial Engg and MBA in Supply chain, The interview was about 20 mins on phone, it was pretty good interview and recruiter was impressed and said he would schedule face to face interview the following week at Memphis, TN, Unfortunately the very next day i was declined and was notified with Email.

Interview
The interview takes about an hour where you sit in front of a panel of 2-3 interviewers that comprise of employees and managers. They read word-for-word off of an out-dated questionnaire that makes you answer using life stories, mostly based on your overcoming certain situations.

All questions related to overcoming ethnic diversity. Its weird to hear how you handle working with members of a different race or ethnic background when you personally treat everyone as equals.
