The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Fastenal (Lancaster, PA)
Interview
Overall the interview process was great. It was more of a general conversation and I thought it went good both ways. The interviewer was very personable and went off script a little bit to just have general conversation. I liked that a lot.
I applied through college or university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Fastenal (Fort Worth, TX) in Nov 2019
Interview
The process is not quick when interviewing for any position at Fastenal. HR does a phone screen that lasts 5-10 minutes before moving to the formal interviews. The first one is completed with the leadership at the location you are applying to work at. The second is completed by a district manager or someone in upper level management. A drug screen is done before you can set a start date after accepting the job offer. The process can take 2-6 weeks depending on the role.
I applied online. I interviewed at Fastenal (Hampton, VA) in Mar 2020
Interview
Two stage interview, met with DM first and then GM during the second interview. Relatively easy face to face interviews lasting no longer than 30 minutes. Post pandemic may offer zoom interviews.
