Very fast. Easy to get hired as long as you are personable. You will have one interview, then you will spend half a day riding around with a fastenal employee to see how a typical day is. If you get through that and still like it, they will offer you a job. As long as you can pass a drug test.

General Interview with general questions. Want to see your commitment and motivation level. Usually there will be General Manager and Outside Sales Rep part of the interview process, but this is way to see if different personalities fit with the team.

I was first interviewed by a store manager and then moved on to a district manager. The questions were your typical interview questions and extremely casual. Would not recommend wearing a suit.
