Interview
They use the Lominger behavioral based process. Initial phone screening is performed by HR and/or the hiring manager. Mostly focused on past experience and typical questions like, "What are your career goals?" Called in for a full interview that takes most of the day. Usually meet with 2 to 4 groups of people for one hour. None of the questions are really about your knowledge, but they want to know how you handle different situations. Almost every question starts with, "Tell me about a time when you..." Example questions are: Tell me about a time when you had to make a decision without having all the information necessary or Tell me about a time when you made a decision and it didn't turn out as you planned. Then there are always follow ups, like: What did you learn from that experience? Have you ever been able to apply what you learned to another situation? There are usually 2 or 3 people performing the interview and they are potential colleagues, HR, or other managers besides the hiring manager. Also, you will probably meet with the hiring manager one on one. Overall, it's not that bad, but just try to be prepared with some past experiences that you can draw upon during the interview. It is a pretty long interview. Generally, it takes several weeks to get a decision.

Interview
Filled out online application, including uploading resume and cover letter. Was contacted a month later to determine an interview date. Four interviews total, one with human resources, one with two product engineers, one with the hiring manager, and one with the master engineer. All questions were based on a behavioral interviewing style. No technical questions.

Question 1
"Describe a time in which you failed and had to cut your losses on a project"
Hiring consisted of: Online tests for numerical and verbal reasoning, telephone interview with competency/experience based questions and assessment day. Assessment day consisted of: Timed general test (that you are not expected to finish, so just try your best), 2 problem solving roleplays (responding to emails on behalf of your manager who is away, I think they want you to try your best and accept all responsibility), interpretation of a business case and then presentation.

Question 1
The most difficult I found was one of the problem solving roleplays which consisted of dealing with a disgruntled employee.
