Submitted my CV and Cover Letter online and a couple of months later I was told I had an assessment center in a week.
At 12pm (lunchtime) they sent half of the interviewees home after a group activities and two individual tests (which I thought was pretty brutal and humiliating for those who were sent home).
After lunch time there was around 10 students left, and we had to do a one-on-one very relaxed interview and then a role-play activity.
After weeks of chasing them after the assessment center I received an email saying I had been unsuccessful. But weirdly a couple days later they left a voicemail on my phone asking them to call their HR department back. However I never called back
Very strange experience, but great learning experience nevertheless
I applied online. I interviewed at Eaton (Chennai)
Interview
initially had a telephonic interview with their HR head office from Pune.
there was one more telephonic interview with their MD from Pondicherry factory...subsequent to that i was called to pondy and there was a detailed interview for more than an hour
was given full hope and even salaries/place of posting were discussed...after two days they told that their asia pacific head from Shanghai will be visiting and one more formal interview will be in Chennai..
had an hour long interview with an american head and their local MD was present outside
interview went on well but the feedback later from the MD was not positive
Still their MD maintained that he has not closed the file and will revert ..
however there was no official feedback or call later
not satisfied with the process as professionally you expect an official feedback and the final reason for not getting selected.
