Interview
I applied for this position in mid-April through the company's website. Received a letter from HR for scheduling a phone call. On the day of the interview, HR canceled the call 15 minutes before the agreed time. Then she disappeared for almost two weeks, did not reschedule the interview or respond to my emails. Then I get an apology letter asking for another day to be appointed. Well, everyone can have their own reasons, I thought. Then we had a telephone interview and it looked fine. HR said that I seemed to be a good fit for that position and she would send my resume to the hiring manager, and I would talk with him in a week. She asked me to remind her if I do not hear from them in a week. I sent her a reminder after the first week, one more after the second and one more in the fourth week. Never received any answers. Then a month later I received an automatically generated letter from the system stating that they had found more suitable candidates, and my application is no longer being considered. Meanwhile, they renewed their job openings on Glassdoor and Linkedin, so they are still looking for more suitable candidates.
All this is very unprofessional and disappointing. If the company works this way, I'm not sure that I would agree to the offer, even if I received it. HRs are the face of the company for candidates, and Eaton's face doesn't look fair and professional for me.
