I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at EPAM Systems in Nov 2020
Interview
I had cleared the initial round and next was online Teams round .
—The interview was scheduled in 30 mins immediately after calling.
—The interviewer directly started with questions of Java 8, spring ,DS
-I was able answer 70% of the questions
-Interviewer never acknowledged if I was right or not (I didn’t expect ) but when the answer was wrong or not satisfied. He was taunting like “Oh you have not worked on this”
Almost 10 times in interview this word was used when morally takes us down
-Interviewer was googling n asking questions .so he was expecting google answer but not the conceptual knowledge
-multiple question was asked on Linear list
-pseudo code was asked for 2-3 programs which I was able to answer
-multiple theory questions was asking on spring
If couldn’t answer completely but if I would attempt to answer then sarcastic comment which took me down
-he gave some program and ask to give optimised best solution in 15 mins
But after starting after he 2 mins he would intervene and he was asking this approach is not optimised and asked to use some other approach
I was not allowed to complete my approach Atleast .i might be give right or wrong or less optimised solution but anyone interrupting will definitely distract u
At 14th min he gave some hint and when I start implementing he said time is over
It was very uncomfortable interview though questions were good I don’t think interviewer should be sarcastic or taunting while taking interview
Overall it was a poor experience though I learned abt my strengths
Suggestion- if someone is not able to answer doesn’t mean he don’t know anything.please avoid sarcastic comments
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at EPAM Systems (Praga) in Nov 2019
Interview
Interview was very professional one on one. Interviewer had prepared questions for every part of stack and went quite deep in validating my knowledge. He did it in a very professional way not to humiliate but to find out degree of knowledge. It was all discussion + couple of printed source code samples to describe (what will happen).
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at EPAM Systems (Ciudad de México) in Jul 2019
Interview
It's a series of technical interviews, progressing difficulty and specificity towards the position. First general language questions from a team abroad, then a couple of more narrow interviews around specifiic background and fit with the team from a futuure teammate.
