I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at EPAM Systems (Bengaluru) in Jan 2026
Interview
The first round was a detailed technical interview lasting about one hour. It focused on an in-depth discussion of my project experience, understanding of end-to-end data pipelines, technical concepts, and problem-solving skills. The interviewer asked questions related to my daily work, design decisions, tools and technologies used, as well as a hands-on coding exercise to evaluate logical thinking, coding ability, and how effectively I approach real-world technical problems.

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at EPAM Systems (Vilna)
Interview
Was interviewed by two people, none of them were from the team that hires. They were not aware of the position and context of interview, probably haven't read my CV. Looks like in EPAM interviewers are chosen randomly from those who have free time slot for scheduled time.
The questions were irrelevant - aimed mostly on recalling formal terminology and buzzwords definitions, or questions like "How many clicks does it take to reach this page?". To put it shortly, questions absolutely not helpful in evaluating practical engineering skills and real-world problem-solving. Very frustrating experience.
