I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Discover in Aug 2022
Interview
Applied May 24th through employee referral. The recruiter took several months to schedule anything through extremely sporadic communication. Met with the HM, and 2 partners/1 team member to the role in early August.
The interviews were fantastic, straightforward with 3 behavioral questions based on Discover's values. I enjoyed the conversations. I was told it was down to myself and one other candidate.
Following my final interview, I was completely ghosted for 2 months (with 1 follow-up email sent to the recruiter and HM after one month.) I only learned I was no longer under consideration by signing into the workday platform. After 2 months (nearly October at this point), it was finally updated.
No email/single response/feedback. It was a very poor and unprofessional experience unfortunately.
