I applied online. The process took 6 days. I interviewed at Discover (New Castle, DE) in Aug 2019
Interview
Phone interview first. They asked a lot of “describe a time when...” questions. Asked about why you would be a good fit etc. Then told me she wanted me to come in for an in person interview. They asked a lot of the same questions and made me listen to examples of calls and to critique them. The next day I got an email saying I didn’t get the job.

Question 1
Describe a time when you dealt with a difficult customer. What did you do to resolve the issue?
First I got interviewed locally then at the headquarters. There was a tour of the building first then two rounds of interviews with different managers. Most of the questions where personality types and a few technical. It's more like a conversation than an actual interview.
I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Discover (Riverwoods, IL) in Oct 2018
Interview
Applied through an on-campus event and got offered an interview for the following day. After that I then had a phone interview which was mostly technical questions before going to do final interviews at HQ in Riverwoods. The day before the last round of interviews, all the candidates had dinner with various employees for an opportunity to ask questions in a more casual setting. The day after there were 3 back to back interviews as well as a tour of the HQ.
